Design

From concept to prototype our design department will construct a design to your exact specifications. Our CAD system integrates with existing technologies to achieve the highest level of accuracy throughout the manufacturing process.

Frequently customers ask how to properly measure and communicate to their supplier the dimensions of a folding carton. Dimensions should be measured from center of score to center of score and communicated in the following industry standard order.

Length first – Length is the larger dimension at the open end of the carton.

Width second – Width is the smaller dimension at the open end of the carton.

Depth last – Depth is the distance between open end(s).

The following diagrams illustrate how the measuring industry standard is applied to a variety of carton styles. Boelter Industries, Inc. can work with you to customize any of the diagrams or create you own style of folding carton.
